Last year, Airtel Uganda and Kampala Capital City Authority officially unveiled their new partnership that allows customers to pay their taxi monthly license trading license & property rates by using the convenient and instant Airtel Money platform.
With the KCCA fee payment, Airtel Uganda is now ensuring that taxi drivers and owners, business people and property owners can tend to their businesses and pay their dues without having to worry about the time spent lining up at banks and at KCCA offices.
Airtel Uganda has been at the forefront of partnerships; joining several notable organisations in various sectors; fostering innovations that are aimed at improving the lives of their customers. In addition to the new fees’ payment solution, customers on the Airtel Money platform can; send and receive money across various mobile networks, conduct ATM withdrawals, pay utility bills and, top up airtime.
Airtel Uganda Managing Director Mr. Tom Gutjahr said that Airtel Money is expounding on its product range to bring ultimate convenience in money transfers to all its customers.
In another development, Airtel Uganda also partnered with KCCA in a city development project, which will see the telecom Company beautifying a section of the city. The area to benefit from this includes Wampewo Avenue, and Wampewo round-about to Nakawa. Airtel Uganda will be responsible for the maintenance of these areas, sidewalks and greenery. Tom Gutjahr expressed the Company’s honor at being associated with KCCA, in this venture.
